About Lauren
Lauren Shields is a Los Angeles based multidisciplinary prop stylist, creative director and television art + craft producer. With nearly 20 years of experience, Lauren finds inspiration in the high and the low, the near and far. After graduating from Smith College with a B.A. in Studio Art and French Literature, Lauren moved on to learn the ropes of photo shoot production, editorial art direction and crafting at Martha Stewart Living, branching out to start her own business in 2005. Lauren excels at problem solving, schlepping, and using both beautiful and ordinary objects to tell a story. She is convinced she has the best job in the whole world and loves all opportunities to explore, travel and work with her hands and collaborate with incredible people.
