After growing up in Indiana, Lauren ventured east to Smith College where she earned a degree in French Literature and Studio Art. She started her career at Martha Stewart Living, learning the editorial ropes in the art department and as a craft editor. After five years, Lauren launched her freelance career as a prop stylist, designer and crafter. Today, her work can be found in a wide variety of magazines and advertisements, as well as on television. Lauren draws inspiration from her travels near and far, loves a good bargain, black & white photo booths, and her Brooklyn neighborhood.
